1. To glorify to God, The God of the Bible, Who has revealed Himself to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
2. To follow the example of the Apostles given to us in Acts 2:42. “And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
3. To edify the body of Christ through the teaching of the Word of God, the Bible, in and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
4. To follow the command of Jesus… “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20
